This week I continued with my second asset, an old-fashioned telephone, in Maya for my 3D assignment. I also coloured and UV mapped it (basically I coloured the whole phone black and UV mapped the dial). I received feedback again for my model. The pros I received for the model were that the dial for the model was textured good and that the model is easily recognisable as a phone and that I made a good use of the reference image. But to improve I could use the bevel tool, smooth out the hard sharp edges and create a cable wire for the phone like old telephones used to have. (Note- the bottom image is of UV map of my telephone with all objects combined)
